Hello!!

i recently posted a thread about a griefer that has been bothering people since 2012 and he/she still around attacking people with objects ... my  post got deleted !
i took pics and reported that person twice (once a day) because it attacked me 2 times, since he/she is invisible avatar i couldnt see where he/she was to block her but i finally did.. the objects i did blocked immediately but everytime the attacker uses different objs
well my question is WHY  havent LL banned thart person?
i know there are many griefers out there and deserve to be banned

could it be that LL lets them have their way because they use payment? AND new residents dont :smileyfrustrated:

Hi Chika,

If you named the griefer in your post, it was probably removed because naming people is a violation of the LL Terms of Service.

Lindens do not generally look at or visit the forums, so it was probably another forum poster who brought your thread to the attention of the moderators.

The best way to handle griefers is to AR and avoid them.

"People" need to submit their own ARs. LL may or may not believe that her alleged behavior warrants sanction.

P.S. How is it that you know this person "has been bothering people since 2012"?

Unless the person has violated the TOS, they won't be banned. And LL will not rely just on your say-so to make a determination.

Take Madelaine's advice and avoid that person.

Just wanted to clarify this point:

The length of time someone has been in SL has no correlation whatsoever with if/how much they pay to LL or in SL.  Someone who signs up today for a SL account may opt to be a Premium account holder which means paying a monthly fee, the amount differing depending on if one pays monthly, quarterly, or yearly.  On the other hand, there are people who have been in SL for years (including me) who are Basic account holders, meaning we do not pay the monthly fee.

How much a person spends in world on land purchase or rental, merchandise, tipping in clubs or instructors at classes, etc., etc. is dependent per person, not on what type of account they are. 

Having a Premium account opens up a few more topics within support tickets as well as access to live chat, iirc.  I had a Premium account for approximately the first three years of my SL and the last three have been Basic.  Having been both, I honestly don't feel I received any greater or lesser service the few times I've really  needed help from LL being one or the other.  Now the service in general is a whole other topic, but I just wanted to clarify the payment issue has nothing to do with length of time in SL.

There is no justice in sl, just like in real life, just ban, mute & move on.

...and don`t complain cause in the end you will be the one banned cause of sharing the details and naming names.

I can't see anything in the thread specific enough to identify the griefer so I wouldn't have thought there was a problem with this thread. I get told similar about particular griefers almost daily. Often they have been banned and have returned under an account name so similar it is obviously a new account. All you can do really is AR them and take preventative measures until they get bored. Shut down rezzing and scripts to group only, ban them and use an orb. If you are a Sim owner consider using something like the griefer defence system to ban new avatars and autoban people rezzing too many prims in too short a time period. Eventually they will get bored and move on to someone else.

reason i know griefer bothers other people is because i looked at the profile and many complain to him/her
well  ty for your tips  i'll try that one too i didnt know of  'rezzing in group''' but im not a sim owner .
