how do I exchange my linden home for a different one

Five easy steps:

1.  Stand in your home

2.  Pick up all your stuff, one thing at a time (NOT all of it at once)

3.  Open World >>. About Land >>> General  (or click the Land button at the top of your screen)

4. Click Abandon Land.

5. Register for a new Linden Home in the style you prefer.

You can do this up to 5 times a day if you really want to.
