Issues with buying Linden and adding credit card

Linden Lab does not accept most debit cards or any prepaid credit cards.  You are supposed to have a credit card or a verified PayPal account on file.  If you are buying L$ with a PayPal account and it does not have a credit card as its backup source of funds, Linden Lab will terminate the transaction unless you have enough cash in the PayPal account to cover your purchase.  So, if you can transfer enough cash from a bank account or some other source to your PayPal account, you can buy L$ on the Lindex with it.

As another alternative, you may buy L$ from any of the Authorized Resellers.  Check their rates, which are usually higher than the Lindex, but you'll  find that many of them will accept payment methods that LL will not.
