I'm puzzled.  The two answers you got to your previous post were spot on.  If you manage to log on to SL, your av will be right in front of you.  She's the attractive woman with her back to you.  You're looking over your own left shoulder.  If you press on the UP arrow on your keyboard, your avatar wil walk forward.  Try the other arrows to verify that they move you in other directions too.

If that's not what you're seeing, and if you are actually IN Second Life (You can see scenery, other avatars, .... ), then the only other thing you can possibly mean is that your avatar looks sort of like a cloud instead of the lovely woman you expected.  If THAT's what you mean, then you are dealing with a somewhat uncommon situation called "bake fail".  You'll find simple solutions here >>> http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_bake_fail

To avoid bake fail in the future, get off wireless.  Wireless is a lousy choice in SL for many people, and not recommended by Linden Lab.  Get a LAN cable and connect your computer directly to your router.  Try rebooting your router and modem too.  Just unplug them from the power for a few minutes.  Then plug them back in and restart your computer.

Ahhh, I think I know what is happening here. Look at that destination lists box, there should be an "X" in the top right hand corner, as its just a window that automatically opens when you log in with the official Second Life viewer. Your avatar should be visible without all the clutter of destinations on your screen.

Then you are not signing in. It sounds as if you are doing something on your web browser, not entering SL. Did you download and install a viewer? See https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/?lang=en-US . Did you read any introductory information?
