I tried to rez an item and it never rezed it was a Penglin from Krafties from Papstnbelch at 8:39:3

Sometimes, things that don't rez get throiwn into your Lost and Found folder.  Look there...the object might even have a different name than what you are expecting, especially if the thing you tried to rez consisted of more than one linkset.  It might have the inventory symbol of a stack of cubes, instead of a single cube.

Sometimes, something will rez but a a but in Second Life keeps us from seeing it.  While in the vicinity of where you think the object should be, hit CTRL+SHIFT+R, and then hit it again.

Sometimes, objects get thrown into the sim's "trash collection corner".  Go as close to coordinates 0,0,0 as you can (it may be underground) and look for the missing item.  World/Area Search, and temporarily turning off the rendering of the ground may be helpful.  Go to the Advanced menu (CTRL+ALT+D, if it isn't on your menu bar).  Find Advanced/Rendering Types and un-check Surface Patch.
