Why does my viewer only shows me portion of some avatar.Other parts are invisible.

Those avatars are probably wearing mesh clothing, which is downloaded separately from the avatar "body" itself. The invisible portions of them are being hidden by alpha layers. The meshes should arrive in time; if they just don't arrive and this is a consistent problem you can adjust your settings to have them load more reliably.
