Eirlys Rhiannyr
Does anyone else find threads - one after the other - advertising events at the same venue a bit too much?Counted 5 from one venue just now...I like to look at all posts and find I am scrolling through loads of repetitive stuff.Unfortunately at present there's no option to set a forum on ignore (which I'd love to do to rentals and events). Unfortunately at present there's no option to set a forum on ignore (which I'd love to do to rentals and events). I am so much with you in this. It is not only "too much" It is annoying. I really wish SL will create an ignoring option, because since I do post as an Estate Agent (of course I include ALL my parcels in one post) I do really feel bad by doing it because it exactly does make people like you want to ignore me - and thats bad and not new. I feel like this since for ever. But I cannot do different. People needs to know what's available and so i post weekly. Same is happening with Venue owners I guess. Now, if I was you, then I would maybe select which posts I would like to read by category and not by scrolling all the way down. That way you will avoid posts of "Land" and "Places and events" Lets see what other people would say about it, and meanwhile why not fill a jira to suggest it to LL? Cheers, beet. Drake1 Nightfire
Doesn't the main page get chopped into sections for you? if you mean you have to scroll past five posts, yes they were for the same location but for different events, when you are in the Upcoming events category... Seriously? You must have missed the actual spam we had to deal with from the escorts in Dubai.
Bobbie Faulds
If you look, though same venue, probably different DJ's or themes...also, the way you can post events sucks. You can only post them in intervals of a few days. So, if you have something that goes all day, like a garage sale thing, you have to make multiple postings for the same events to cover the times it's running.
