Hi 0thella,

Your items are not probably not disappearing from SL, they're disappearing from the local list your viewer maintains of what's in your inventory. This happens when your connection to SL is interrupted or compromised by delays en-route. Here's a document that discusses missing inventory, including rezzed things that go poof in the night...

http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_missing_inventory

That document is applicable to most viewers, not just Firestorm. And if you continue to have inventory issues, I'll recommend that you read this...

Nalates Urriah covers a bunch of communications issues that can mess up SL, and ways to fix them.

Good luck!

This is a resident to resident help forum, and Linden Lab employees don't come here.  If you want their help, you'll need to file a Support Case...and for technical support with inventory, you will also have to be a Premium member.

However, two bits of advice:

1.  LL was doing maintenance on the inventory servers today.  This may have been part of your problem.

2.  You can usually recover "missing" inventory items (they aren't really missing, it's just that the inventory cache on your local hard drive has gotten corrupted).  Follow the instructions here: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_missing_inventory
