Manilla3D
I have been a mesher on IMVU for eight years and I'm looking to expand to SL. I would like to make clothing meshes in Maya, however I just can't find a download link for SL avatars to use in Maya. Can someone direct me to where to download the avatars? It would mean a lot to me! I use Maya 8.
arton Rotaru
The currently used skeleton files can be found here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Mesh/Rigging_Fitted_Mesh#Download_links There is the so called Project Bento, with a much more sophisticated skeleton in development currently, with it's release to the main grid not too far away. Files for this can be found here. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Project_Bento_Testing Though, for clothing the new Bento skeleton might be overkill, and I haven't seen any Bento skeleton which has the fitted mesh bones added yet. So I guess the old skeleton will do fine for clothing. Though, I havn't followed the Bento Project closely, not sure what have changed meanwhile.
