You can use the Radegast text Viewer

and then try to clean up your avatar state. Log in & activate the None group, and remove any suspect attached items.

Also, if you have special characters in your Display Name you might want to revert to no Display Name to see if one of your characters or fonts recently became not allowed by the SL Viewer.

Till when your viewer runs?....nearly the and you say, is it perhaps region handshake?

 

did you try logging at another region?
