Are you sure he wasn't banned? Have him look in his email to see if he got a email from LL.  If he sees nothing check the spam folder.

We can't do a thing, Jennifer.  We're just residents like you.

If your partner got banned from SL, all he can do is submit a support case and appeal the ban.  However, getting a ban that won't let him log in from his computer (a "hash tag" ban) almost never happens unless that person has committed some very serious, flagrant, and repeated Terms of Service violations.

I'd suggest you start looking for another partner.
