Why can't I send Marketplace gifts to one lone friend whose name is recognized by the system?

There was one posted about the other day where the person is age verified and no one can send him gifts without getting the message that he isn`t mature enough. I would say that both that and your case are variations of the same bug, so it would be worth posting a comment on the JIRA as it may help them to troubleshoot the problem....Plus it gets a Linden to look at your case and maybe offer a fix if its a diff problem

 

The cases do all have in common, the fact that it is a gift from the marketplace and always fails to a particular person for no valid reason...Sometihing fishy definately going on.

Thank you Peewee, but my problem seems to be slightly different from what was described in WEB-3126. In the cases discussed there the person to receive the gift was not found in the system. In my case, their name does come up in the list of possible recipients, and shortly after I place a gift order, I get a message stating there were problems and after 8 hours the order is automatically cancelled since it wasn't delivered.
