Maybe you were banned maybe not. First try clearing your cache and relog. If that doesn't work then Log off, shut computer off, disconnect the power off your router, then disconnect the power off your modem, all in that order. Wait 2 minutes and then turn everything back on in the reverse order.

If you haven`t had an email saying you are banned, send an email to support@secondlife.com asking them to unblock your computer.
