102263
I get a message that looks like this when I try to upload a mesh of a bike:Geometry failed to upload: Invalid asset NewAgentInventory_InvalidAsset: InvalidNumbersOfVertices.Do I need to compress the file or something since only 16 bits or 65536 vertices are allowed? How would I do this?
Drongle McMahon
If the error is the result of too many vertices, then you would have to reduce the complexity of the mesh in suitable mesh editing software (or make a new one from scratch). A bicycle with so many vertices is much too detailed to be of practical use inworld in that form. Meshes are counted as multiple prims against the parcel prim allowance. If they are too detailed, they can easily exceed the prim allowance of a whole sim. A similar error message might also result from having diferent numbers of submeshes (inworld faces) at different levels of detail.
Nalates Urriah
Post a wire frame screen capture of the blike. We can give yu and idea if it is too complex or if there is a problem. If you do have 65k vertices for a bike, it may be too complex.
