Why didnt i get my 2000 lindens when my friend sent me the lindens?

Hello lucario. Open your dashboard --> Account --> Transaction History --> Select a Date Range and check out if he/she really sent you the lindens. If you don't see the transaction there obviously your friend didn't send the lindens or sent them accidentally to someone else. Suggest to your friend, to check his/her Transaction History same way.

in addition to what loveangel said - make a habit of downloading your transaction history to disk regularly. never know when it will come in handy. i can't recommend this enough. it is only held for 30 days - 500/24 hrs. when it's gone there it's gone.
