I'm in right now, no problem, but it could be the region you are trying to get in to. Instead of start at my Home or my Last Location, try typing in a different place like, lets see...Smith?

Are you sure that your computer is good enough to run SL?

Check that SL is not being blocked by any security programs or firewalls on your computer.

What Router are you using? There are a couple such as the Netgear DGN 1000 that will not stay connected to SL.

but from the sound of your post it sounds more like a problem on your end.
