A new folder with 1 item inside appeared out of "My Inventory" main folder and I can't delete it

Delete the item in the folder then delete the folder.  Some folders are system folders and can not be deleted.

I'm afraid you are going to have to file a ticket to get this sorted out. As far as I know nothing else will get the folder, or contents, back to your inventory. You may try to clear cache, reinstall the viewer and so on to be able to document what you have done when you file the jira, but I don't think it will do much good otherwise.

As far as I know, only Linden Lab can repair inventories when this occurs but do try what Storm suggested.

If you have Premium, submit a ticket. If you have Basic, there is no support for inventory issues and you would need to upgrade, even for a month, to have this looked at. One folder is unlikely to be worth this.

I found this thread and it seems to agree, only Linden Lab can sort this.

Hello Lill. If the folder includes at least one item by the SL Library, you can't delete this so you can't delete the folder. Also you can't delete something when you wear or add it in your avatar. Check out if you need to detach or take of the item first.

Are you using Phoenix; are you talking about the LSLbridge folder?

If you have a copy, how about rezzing the item from the unwanted folder inworld, deleting it, then deleting the folder.
