Yes.  You can have as many accounts as you wish.  Accounts after your first one are the ones we call "Alts."  It doesn't matter where your RL funds for the accounts come from, so you can pay for them all from a single source or use several sources.  As far as LL is concerned, each account is a separate entity, so you may sell assets to your alt just as if you were dealing with a complete stranger.  (All permission restictions also apply, so you cannot transfer objects from one account to another unless you have transfer permissions, for example.)
