0 Charolotte Caxton
There is no SL police and only you can cancel your account, unless of course it is someone pretending to be you and they have stolen your identity.
0 Knowl Paine
Only you or Linden Labs can cancel your SL Account. Linden Labs would never cancel your Account without reason or notice to you.
0 Luc Starsider
There is no SL police. Someone have been messing with you. Only you or LL can cancel your account. LL can sometimes ban an account. There has to be a very good reason for them to ban someone, though. - Luc -

0 Nyll Bergbahn
I hope you don't think you are immune from account cancellation because you are a member of a few groups like the 'Federal Police' (We are the higher echelon of police, managing and directing other aspects of SL policing, as well as putting foward an organized and professional police "face") pretending to police the grid or that anyone in the 'Federal Police' has any powers whatsoever to do anything in SL. It's just like kids playing cops and robbers in the school playground. As the others said, if you or anyone else in the pretend police break the TOS, then that person's account can be placed on hold or banned but by Linden Lab ONLY.
0 Nyll Bergbahn
If LL is in any doubt who owns an account, it can ask for the RL information and the security question set when opening the account initially. That's what Support staff asks for when you phone before talking to you. Always keep this information confidential and don't give your password out either. If a person submitted a ticket to Support claiming he/she owned an account that is under the control of some one else, Support may investigate but if that person cannot answer the security question and the person in control of the account can and the person in control also owns the email address associated with that account, there's not much to investigate. 0 Lyra Blackthorne
There are no SL police except for Linden Labs the owners of SL. Only you can cancel your account...unless you have provided someone else with your password then they could sign in as you. Never give this information to anyone and LL would never ask you for it.
