Nacy Nightfire
I think the most I've ever been able to hook up in a romantic-ish relationship in Second Life is about a month. I bore easily. (Yeah, yeah...I know "bored people are boring people"...I've heard that one already, mostly from my mom when I was about 7 years old.)I did have one activity I really never tired of. Going with my partner to a SL movie store, shopping for and renting favorite movies and returning back home to watch it in "bed"...or in one case in a homemade theatre. Or in the absence of a movie, watching youtube videos, each trying to best the other with one more horrible or hysterical. On one hand it seems ridiculous to be watching a movie on a 1" screen on my monitor, but in drawn perspective its been the biggest tv I've ever owned. And the experience is alot like being in bed at home and on the phone with a good friend while you both watch the same movie and crack jokes about it. My second favorite has been to go to a live music event.Anyone else have something they love(d) to do as a couple in SL?
Ishtara Rothschild
Her favorite activity is shopping with my money :matte-motes-wink-tongue: As for mine... something other than SLex? I can't think of anything :matte-motes-bored:

Monti Messmer
Being together for more than 3 years we still enjoy go dance, either romantic slow or to actual charts. Doing that we chat alot about everything in our RL, work kids news .... Because we live in different countries and very different timezones now its only a few hours a month, so there is alot to tell. Maybe because we leave that naughty stuff out and have a more romantic relation this worked for so long and stays even with the short time we now have ..... Oh yes and of course she love to go shopping, GIRLS :smileyvery-happy: but i love to go with and buy nice things for her :smileywink: Monti
Kascha Matova
At my old place, I had converted close to 10000m to a hedge maze, in which I placed fountains, benches, and a playground. One of me and my ex's favorite things to do, or what we did almost every time we were on together, was wander around the maze and end up in the playground, in one of the two person swings just swinging for hours and talking, or on the merry-go-round. With the ocean right there and all the other ambiance, it was a paradise that always seemed like it never needed to end. We also loved to go dancing, so we spent a lot of time at Caribbean Breezes when it was still around, and we loved hanging out at Ethereal Teal, because it is such a favorite of mine. Also sailing and jetskiing in various locations, including around my property which had a bridge splitting it that was fun to go zooming under. Sylvia Tamalyn
We really like dancing and chatting together, whether it's at a romantic ballroom (we go to one of those at least once per week), a less formal club, or at our private garden dance floor (a work in progress, but it's looking good!). We also like taking photos, playing with windlight, angles, etc....especially photos of us dancing and chatting. :smileyhappy:
Celestiall Nightfire
I've never had an official "SL partner". But, I have had a long-term building partner. One of the best things we did together was....build. (Bet you didn't see that one coming) Both of us standing there working on a joint project, exchanging ideas, textures, animations, snippets of script, altering, melding, and creating...it's amazing. Like a Vulcan Mind meld. I also have an exploring partner in SL, and we explore and show each other places around the grid. The other night, my exploring partner came inworld and we sat together, and he shared details with me from his RL science conference that he is attending. That felt so intimate and good, just talking about a shared interest and hearing about his RL work and activities that touch at the heart of one of my long-held-RL-dreams (space travel and knowledge of the universe). Just thinking about this is making me smile... : )
Jaylin Wytchwood
There is no "one" favorite thing. We love to cuddle & chat, build together, decorate our home, explore & do photos. go dancing (Preferredly at one of our favorite live Performers, sail together, watch rented movies, learn together (Newest Project: Animations for our furniture). Words don't even have to get in the way, as you can just do it.
Nacy Nightfire
"Just thinking about this is making me smile... : )" ....Makes me smile, too. All are great posts. Your experience to me is ideal. I love to build and make things, but I haven't been fortunate enough to hook up with people who both build and like to build collaboratively. leyna1488303852
Renting movies is the second thing I've discovered on the forums today that I'd never considered doing in SL! (sleeping was the first) It's the simple things, ya know? That sounds like something my partner and I would enjoy. We do love going dancing, probably more than anything else, that and exploring new places. We've had some really nice moments when we've found ourselves alone in the middle of what is typically a busy place. We'll sit ourselves down right in the middle of a sidewalk or floor somewhere and chat away until we're sleepy. Or finding some nice cuddles somewhere unexpected where we just relax together, breathing in and out. Hmm....a homemade theater... *wheels turning*
Venus Petrov
I have never partnered (well, once as a gag with a friend who wanted to partner with 25 others in 24 hours..and he did it!) but I love to go dancing, explore interesting places, decorate together, and just sit and chat. squashy Beeswing
I haven't performed my favourite activity with my partner 'cos Linden Lab doesn't allow it. What i'd really like is to get inside my partner's inventory (with him in attendance, obviously) and throw out everything that i deem to be 'crap'. After that, i'd get him to try on ALL his clothing, taking care not to omit a single prim. Then he'd see how good he can look with just a modicum of effort. :matte-motes-wink-tongue:

Tari Landar
We love to build together. In fact shortly here we'll be tearing apart the sim and redoing it. That's also something we like to do together. But aside from that we also go visit other sims. We've been to a couple zoos, Africa(gotta love those zebras man), different museums(there are TONS) other sims dedicated to certain countries or "styles". Amusement parks are great too, and waterparks. We've been just about everywhere and love exploring. It's fun exploring alone, but it's even more fun when you've got someone with you. We don't really explore RP sims much, because even though some are beautiful, we're just not into that and don't want to interrupt those sims anyway. We do have an odd habit of sitting on things not meant to be sat on while out and about. Penguins in the zoo for example, yeah I don't think they were expecting it, but it was pretty darn hilarious at the time I'm not sure that particular zoo exists anymore, I haven't been to it since 2008, I'll have to look. It was cute, not too small, but definitely really cool in it's own right. We've done some hunts before-I do those more than he does since most *are geared towards women more than men. But the ones like Octoberville, where it's an actual *activity are pretty cool and fun to do with a partner. We've gone jet skiing on some open sims before too. That was great fun, especially when we'd crash into a sim crossing and get a skii stuck.(then you rez a new one and start over, lol). We avoid clubs like the plague and hate most of them. So we don't go out dancing anywhere like that. We've been dancing a few different places, but never clubs. We have our own intan at home and if we want to stream a particular type of music, or our own, we can. We watch movies and shows together a lot. We used to watch in game, but now more often than not we're logged in game but watching them in rl instead. There are some movie theaters in sl too(and not just adult ones) those can be fun. Neither of us is all that fond of shopping so unless we have a specific purpose, we don't go shopping.

greypaladin
Since my SL partner is my actual RL partner + love, we enjoy dancing and music in RL and SL. We both dress up in our most formal outfits (I love my white tux, she likes her black gown), and we head to the most snazziest dance places or concerts to enjoy the music, makes no difference if we are overly dressed or not. Sometimes we travel to different SIMs to see what is out there: sci-fi, western, cyberpunk, etc., there is always a new place to see in SL. YoSaffBridge
Simple but romantic, how nice. I am more of a simple pleasure person, just the company of a loved one doing anything together is enough to warm my heart and keep me smiling, whether it is movies, dancing, sightseeing, RPing or just cuddling. Easy to please.

Zog Ozsvar
I think every date Ive ever been on in SL (4ish), I have gone sailing. Always seems so nice to cruise along admiring other people's land/builds, and it give me a chance to wear my rubber duckie wellies... However, given that ive been in SL for 4 years and averaged one date per year this may not be good advice! Z/A
