0 Knowl Paine
That message usually means your Account has been placed on Administrative Hold or the Account has been banned. You will receive an email from Second Life at the email address you first used when creating your Account, that message will explain why action has been taken against you Account. Do not try to access SL with this Account or create an Alt as a work around until any misunderstandings can be resolved. Sometimes there is a delay in receiving a message from SL. You will have an opportunity to Appeal any decision made. Look for that email from SL. If you believe there is all in error, submit a ticket for support "I cannot access my account". 0 Nyll Bergbahn
That message means you've been banned from Second Life or someone in your household has got everyone who uses your computer banned. Check your spam folder in case the LL email went there. There is always the possibility that this is an error at Linden Lab or that a banned IP has cycled over to you, the latter rare but not completely unknown. If you have a dynamic IP address, unplug your modem and router for a minute then replug. If still the same, you will need to contact support. From: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Login-failure/ta-p/700109 You cannot log into Second Life from this location This error message may also appear as: Login failed. Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer. These messages generally indicate you have been blocked from the Second Life servers by Linden Lab as the result of: Documented cases of fraud Use of Second Life by a minor Exceptionally flagrant abuse activity Note that someone else in your household may be responsible for this activity, not necessariliy with your account. If you believe that this is an error, submit a support ticket via the support portal. To help customer support determine what block has been placed and why, include in the ticket your Second Life account name and any Second Life accounts that log in from your location. If you have had no notification in your email that your account has been banned, then what Dekka suggests, to unplug your modem and plug it back in after a few minutes, should work. However, if this does not work for you, you can call one of the freephone numbers and ask an operator there to advise you further. I have known several people have their account deactivated for no reason, and the phone help has got them logged back in within 2 or 3 minutes.
