Editing Avatar?

Hi, Im new to sedond life. I used to play about...2 years ago i think? didnt get that into it. But i downloaded it again and i cant seem to change my avatar. Ive gone through looking at Tuts but they're all teh old versions and i have a new version on second life. If anyone could help me id be so happy XD

Be sure your are using the advanced mode, not the basic more:

Basic mode for newcomers, update for voice

Your shape or skin have to be modifiable before you can edit them.

Otherwise find a new shape and skin and hair and clothes and shoes...make a new you.
