You can remove it by detaching all attachments. But, before you do that take a look at your worn attachments.........the odd one that you might not expect to see is probably the culprit. It's also possible that someone gave you something recently as a "gift" or something.......remove those first.
No, it's not within the ToS for someone to track you without your permission.......you can AR them for it.
