Innula Zenovka Posted December 11, 2011 Share Posted December 11, 2011 I've been asked to help compile a list of newbie-friendly BDSM places, for giving out in a guide at the Adult BDSM hub.Anyone got any particular recommendations, either on Estate land or Zindra? Feel free to nominate your own place, if you think it would be suitable. Only qualifications are that it must be on Adult land, good enough to recommend in a destination guide and, as I said, be newbie-friendly. I'd particularly welcome assistance with venues of particular interest to gay men and to non-Anglophone places, but I'd be interested to hear of anywhere people would recommend.I'm starting an equivalent thread over at SLU's BDSM sub-forum, so if anyone is worried about posting slurls and stuff here, we're much more tolerant over on the dark side (and we have cake there, and lolcats...).And on a related note, if anyone knows anywhere like the old Dark Bliss used to be, about 4 years ago, I would love to hear about it -- that place was such fun, and I deeply regret its closing. Easy going, no strict RP rules, no gender rules either (femdom, maledom, futanari, whatever). Random grabs abound so if going in with an open relay and/or collar you might be in for some fun (no guarantee however). Warning: loads of furries. But you do not HAVE to be furry. not by any means. Don't worry about feeling lost -- SL can be a bit of learning curve, but it's fun getting the hang of it. I'd suggest, in the first instance, logging into SL checking out the Adult Hub and the Adult Hub BDSM . They're part of privately-run complex of sims (which I'm involved in) that were set up as a welcome centre for people who're just getting started in SL and who want to explore Adult Content. There are plenty of friendly helpers about and also a lot of people hang out there socialising, so it's a good place to meet people. We should be able to get you started with the -- sometimes rather confusing -- mechanics of SL and also suggest some interesting and friendly BDSM places to explore.
