I have a negative amount of lindens?

You probably belong to one or more groups that share the liability for things like placement in Search (L$30 per week) among group members.  Open your dashboard at secondlife.com and navigate to Account >> Transaction History.  Use the drop-down menu to display a couple of weeks' worth of transactions, so that you can see who you have paid L$ during that period.  Once you have identified the group(s), you can choose whether to stay in them or leave.

Hello Calista and welcome to SL Forums. Under your transaction history (as you said) you will see where your lindens gone. Maybe they are group liabilities. If you see nothing today, select a different date range.
