You did right sending notecards. Be patient. All merchants are not online 24 hours a day, especially on Sundays. I would suggest you wait until tomorrow (Tuesday) before sending another notecard to the seller. Try sending an IM too. (what's 8am "your time", btw?) :smileyhappy:
