Irene Muni
You can sell the objects of any resident assuming you have the appropiate permisions. Amethyst Jetaime
Yes you can if your husband is able to give the homes to you as copy and transferable. Basically, if he built the house, made his own original textures, and created any animations etc., he can give the houses to you to sell. If he used any textures, scripts, animations etc. that he purchased from another party, this is not possible due to the license he holds, even if they were full perm to him. He agreed to the terms when he purchased them and if he doesn't abide by that he can get in serious legal trouble and you may too. Chances are this is the problem you face. You can help though. Most content creators love creating the content but find the merchandising a pain. This is probably why he wants you to do this. You can take all the pictures and do all the graphics and give them to him as well as a write up for the home that he can copy and paste into the marketplace listing. You can learn what there is to know about the marketplace and guide him through setting up his shop.
Sassy Romano
As has been stated, one of the issues is transfering content to you that has licenced content from other creators however there is a way to do this without breaching any licences although it's a bit of initial effort to set up. What you can do is your partner creates the content and boxes it up and puts it in a "delivery server" that he owns You list the item on MP and the item that you sell is a "delivery box" that has a scirpt inside that when rezzed, sends a message to the delivery server which then does an llGiveInventory to the person who bought the empty box. This box of yours would go in your Magic Box and then you can do all the pictures, the inventory management on MP. This is simple to script if you're already writing scripts or you can do it with one of the many products that handle product updates although writing your own gives you more flexibility. Of course, if he's your RL husband, then it would just be easier to log in as him.
Chelsea Malibu
But as you will see on the other post here today, a House is not something that you should do in MP without one on display in world.
Nefertiti Nefarious
If he packs and loads the boxes with the houses, then puts them into his Magic box, you can do the photos and descriptions. However, you need to log on as him and do the marketplace stuff. How trusting is he?
