Make the NEARBY tab a real radar and add distance, show chatrange.

I made some mockups and hope to bring this feature in the official viewer some day. Would be awesome if we would not need external radars anymore.

Please refrain from adding comments like "you have to use this viewer instead... that viewer is better" . Use what viewer you like, it is your choice.  But this is an idea of improvement for the official viewer!

Yes, I agree with you, Suzan.  This ought to be a standard feature in the LL viewer too.  It's an excellent idea.  My only point was that SL residents do have this option already, if they choose to use it.  ALL viewers are official, since Linden Lab was wise enough to make the viewer code open source.
