How do I find hidden objects? I have a heart emitter buried somewhere in my house

Only 2 posts... so we'll assume you are using the SL Viewer. It helps to be explicit about which viewer and version. You can find that info in Help->About.

One way is to open the Build Tool, Ctrl-B will do it. There are also a button and menu item for opening Build. You can click and drag to open a selection box. Drag over the area it is in. You should be able to select it.

There are settings that decide what you can select, just your stuff or everything. In the top Build menu item select Options.

Also, pressing Ctrl-Alt-T reveals tranparent items.

Beacons reveal particle emitters and scripted items. You will find Cheesy Beason in the top menu item Advanced. It makes beacons flash. See

. The menus have changed since then. In the top menu select World -> Show.
