0 Lindal Kidd
I'm not sure Phoenix supports multiple items on the same clothing layer...but in a viewer that does, it should be possible, by clicking Add on the second alpha layer, instead of Wear.

0 valerie Inshan
Phoenix does not support multiple layers so you won't be able to do that with this viewer. But Linda is correct about other viewers V2-based. It will work with SL official viewers (V2 and V3) and with Firestorm (not sure about other third party viewers). Just be sure to choose "add" instead of "wear" as she told you.
0 Ansariel Hiller
Because Phoenix Viewer does not support multi-wearables (wearing multiple items of the same clothing layer simultaneously). You either need to switch to a viewer that does support that, or you can create an alpha layer for that particular outfit yourself by using the clothing layer templates (available here: http://static-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/templates/CMFF_Template_Set.zip ): Delete (aka make transparent) the parts of the body that should appear transparent in SL, upload the modified files and use them for a new alpha layer. 0 Innula Zenovka
Yes, you can wear several things on the same layer (so, two alpha layers) but only with a viewer based on V2 or V3. So you can wear two alpha layers with the Official Viewer or Firestorm, Dolphin, Catznip, RLV etc. but not with Phoenix.
