Yes, there are lots of avatars that suffer with this same problem from time to time. Clear your cache, log out, and log back in to a different location - ie Furball (an empty lag-free sim). Check your draw distance isn't set too high. Check what you are wearing (scripted items can slow you down - hair, boots, HUDs). Being in busy places can slow you down.
