HELP! Mobility problems in sl!!!

Yes, there are lots of avatars that suffer with this same problem from time to time.  Clear your cache, log out, and log back in to a different location - ie Furball (an empty lag-free sim).  Check your draw distance isn't set too high. Check what you are wearing (scripted items can slow you down - hair, boots, HUDs).  Being in busy places can slow you down.

Hello and welcome to SL Forums. This is an indication that you suffer of lag. You can check it out if you open your statistics bar. In Viewer is under Menu Advanced (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D) --> Performance tools --> Statistics bar or Ctrl+Shift+1. You see the FPS there on the top. It is good to be at least 15. If it is less your avatar has difficulties to move smoothly. Time dilation should always be 0.96-1, Sim FPS always 45 (can drop to 43-44 only for some secs and again after 45) and Psysics FPS 44-45. If you don't see these numbers is sure that you experiment lag. Sure you are not the only one unable to walk or run. All more or less have similar issues, especially in regions with many avatars. Marigold gave you some great suggestions about how you can reduce it. You can follow also the suggestions here, about how you can make SL to run faster.
