Robobucket
Hello everyone, I have just about an hour ago signed up for and dowloaded second life. I opened the game and signed in when the user agreement came up I could not see it. I tried accepting it but nothing happened. Is there anyyone that can tell me what is going on? Chelsea Malibu
I assume you closed it out and tried again? The system will not let you in until you have accepted it but it should show up each time you open the viewer until you have accepted the ToS. If this does not work, you may want to uninstall it and then re-install the application. Since you have already downloaded a copy which could be corrupted, you might want to download a fresh version and try again. I just did a reinstall of Phoenix and Firestorm last night which both worked perfect. Perhaps a 3rd party application may work better for you. LoveAngeL Lyre
Hello Robobucket and welcome to SL Forums. It is a known bug. You will fix it if you accept the TOS downloading another viewer. The old viewer 1.23 is recommended about and you can find it here. When you accept the TOS once, after it exists for all viewers. The link doesn't work atm with IE8 but you can open it using Mozilla. Robobucket
LoveAngel I downloaded the older version but the problem is it asks for first and last name so how do i bypass that?
Rolig Loon
Robobucket, your last name is Resident . I know it sounds goofy, but all new residents since last spring have had the same dumb last name. The current V3 viewer ignores it, but older viewers and some of the TPVs still require you to spell it out.
